Rebates and Fundraiser's
This is a take home fundraiser!! Collect box tops and soup labels from the students and turn them in for $ for our school!
Things to be done:
Inform parents at the beginning of the year with a few flyers, giving notice to when we do our Rebates drives, collect box tops and soup labels, bundle them in appropriate packages to send to the company.
1-2 hours/month or quarter
Monthly, quarterly, or twice a year.
PTA popcorn is sold the first Friday of the month. Popcorn is ordered in the morning and delivered to the classrooms by lunch time. Three to Five volunteers are an ideal number to have to help on popcorn days. volunteers tally the orders, pop the corn, deliver to classrooms and count the money. This is a rewarding committee to belong to as the students and staff love popcorn!
(Volunteers needed: 3-5, Time commitment: 3-4 hours on popcorn days, typically 8:30- Noon)
$2.00 per student for the ENTIRE year!!

Fundraiser are an important part of our PTA. As hard as it is to not feel like we are all about fundraiser's it is nearly impossible to do the things we want to do for our school without them.
We as a PTA vote on all of the items/things that we use the money for at every General Meeting. An annual budget is reviewed and voted upon as well. Money is never spent unless it has been approved by our General membership.
Some of the things that Alpac PTA supports on a yearly basis are:
Student Pride treats (on a monthly basis)
RICH Reading and AR prizes

Walk-a-thon is a fundraiser where the students take in donations from parents, family and/or community members. And every penny earned goes directly to the PTA fund. This is how we fund our events and programs that PTA offers such as:
Family Nights, $1000
Our Goal this year is to raise $5500.00 for the school through PTA. If every student brought in $15 each, we would succeed!
And to top it off, the kids always have a great time walking around the school listening to great music!!
Remember some companies such as: Boeing, Starbucks, and Weyerhauser will Donation match $25!!

5th Grade Parent Group
There are alot of fun things, and great opportunities for our 5th graders. The 5th grade parent group is here to help raise the funds for the cost of these activities.
The D.A.R.E. program, Junior Achievements and of course 5th Grade Camp! Wow, lots of fun....
